Pumpkins aren’t just for Halloween. You can also use pumpkins to decorate for the fall season or Thanksgiving. Plain pumpkins sometimes just won’t do though, how about jazzing up your pumpkins with fabric or making pumpkins out of fabric?

I know I have skipped around a little bit, but here is my 4th quilt. It is a small wall hanging (approximately 21″ x 24″) made to look like a shelf of mason jars. The pattern I used for the blocks is similar to this tall jar quilt block shared by Janet.
As you can tell by looking at the picture, I made 8 jars out of 8 different floral fabrics. I made a label for each jar by printing an ingredient name (the ingredients that the recipe calls for) on printable fabric. I made the center square to look like a recipe card and on it I printed out a “Recipe for a Happy Day”. Continue reading →
