Policies

While I know most people come here simply to read my posts and try my projects, there are some important policies I need to discuss.

Copyright Policy

Links to any page on this blog are always appreciated and a single photo may be used with a link back to the original post, provided that full and clear credit is given to Sherri Osborn at Hidden Treasure Crafts. Please do not simply copy the first paragraph or any part of the post, put your link in your own words. Please do not re-post a tutorial from this site, even if you put it into your own words.

If you would like information about licensing my content or have a question about this policy, feel free to contact me at sherri(at)hiddentreasurecrafts.com.

Disclosure Policy

Hidden Treasure Crafts is a personal blog written and edited by Sherri Osborn. If you have questions about this blog, please feel free to direct them to sherri(at)hiddentreasurecrafts.com.

I created Hidden Treasure Crafts to share my creative ideas with others. While it is a work of love, I do make some money. I do use forms of paid advertising, affiliate programs, sponsorship, and other forms of compensation. I also sometimes receive free products and/or services.

While I may receive compensation (in the form of money, products, or services), this fact does not influence any decisions, opinions, or reviews. I do not guarantee, that by providing me with compensation (in whatever form), I will give a positive review or opinion. When I am posting a review/opinion that I have been compensated for, I will make note of it at the bottom of said page.

I do participate in some affiliate programs (Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and Link Share). I do this for two reasons – 1) To provide a way for my readers to easily find and purchase products/services and 2) To make a little money. If you follow an affiliate link (to amazon, etc) from my site and make a purchase, I may get a small commission for it. I will make it obvious when a page contains such links, and thanks in advance if you decide to use them!

Along with the affiliate services, I do run ads (Escalate Network and Google Adsense) in various places on the blog and in my newsletters. The income from these ads are one thing I use to help support this site.

All of that being said, the views and opinions expressed on this blog are purely mine and are not influenced by any form of compensation. I do not claim to be an expert on certain topics, products, or services; but I do enjoy sharing products or services that I believe my visitors would want to know about. Any product claim, statistic, quote or other representation about a product or service should be verified with the manufacturer or provider.

Terms of Use

Visitors read and participate at Hidden Treasure Crafts of their own free will and agree to do so at their own risk. While I believe all information is accurate and true, no guarantees are made. All information and tutorials are open to interpretation and results may vary depending on user’s experience and products used. The information provided on Hidden Treasure Crafts is intended to be used for entertainment purposes. By using this blog, you are agreeing to these terms of use.
