I made this Spongebob Squarepants for my son, Christopher, in March 2004. He loved the show and I was hooked on buying things on Ebay — which is where I found more than a dozen different spongebob Squarepants prints. These two things, along with the fact that he had been bugging me for a quilt since I made my daughter her Wizard of Oz Quilt, were the inspiration for my 13th quilt (made in March of 2004).

Morning Glory Snowman Throw
The only reason I am writing this post is because I want to post all of the quilts I have made. The Morning Glory Snowman Throw — which was my 12th quilt — was made using a kit I bought from Bay Window quilt shop… Did you notice there is no picture of this quilt? That is what happens when you forget to take a picture and then give the quilt away.

Winter Star Tree Skirt
I figured now was a good time to introduce quilt project #11. After all, doesn’t everyone start decorating for Christmas as soon as Halloween is over?

20 Pencil Cases to Sew
I am always looking for an excuse to sew bags or pouches, so finding some pencil cases to sew seemed like a timely project!
You might be thinking there isn’t a lot of variety when it comes to sewing pencil cases, but all you have to do is scan this list real fast to see that couldn’t be farther from the truth! You can find projects that are simple enough for a child or beginner and more complicated projects too. There is definitely something for all ages to enjoy.

Blake’s Stroller Quilt
When I was initially picking out fabrics for Blake’s baby quilt (before I had decided on the pattern) I was buying pink and green, along with a few purple fabrics that were too adorable. While I used the pink and green fabrics in Blake’s crib-sized baby quilt, I was left not quite knowing what to do with the purples. That is when I came up with the idea for this simple stroller quilt.

My First Baby Quilt
We are lucky enough to have 2 more grandson’s joining the family in the next few months so I have been searching for some inspiration to make them each a quilt. Besides searching online for baby quilt patterns, I looked back at pictures of baby quilts I have made.

Winter Wonderland Lap Quilt
I decided I am going to start alternating posting photos of older quilts I have made with posts featuring news quilts. I figured I better start doing this otherwise by the time I get around to posting them all, they newest ones would be pretty old… Make sense? 🙂

My #9 Quilt – Belle Star
I took a break from posting my quilts for Christmas, and I left off on my #8 quilt, which was made from a deer panel. This quilt was #9.
The name of the quilt pattern is Belle Starr and it can be found in Terry Atkinson’s Lessons From Mama book (affiliate link). I made this on my second quilt retreat at Camp Lebanon, which was in the Fall of 2003!

Quilt #8 Rail Fence Deer Quilt
This was my 8th quilt, made in March – April of 2003. I first found the deer panel and then found the fabric I used in the quilt. To make the quilt top, I used tan, blue, and brown squares, which I believe were 6-inches (finished size) and alternated them with rail fence blocks.

Quilt #7 – Wizard of Oz
Ready to see the 7th quilt I made, way back in November of 2002? Don’t you just love the fun Wizard of Oz fabrics?
This Wizard of Oz quilt was actually the very first quilt kit I ever bought. I believe it was also my first visit to one of my favorite quilt shops, Bay Window Quilt Shop. Can I blame them that I now have an entire cupboard full of quilt kits (hahaha)?
