My 22nd quilt was sort of a hybrid of two of my other quilts… I used the same pattern from Quilting and Embroidery magazine that I used for my Gone Country inspirational quotes quilt (#19).

Hunter’s Yellow Brick Road Quilt
When I was trying to figure out a quilt to make for my newest great nephew, I lucked out and found the most adorable fabric… This Les Amis Gray Flannel Fabric (affiliate link) from Michael Miller.

Lets Play Hockey Quilt
This is my 16th quilt. Before I tell you more about it, let me apologize for the poor quality of the photo. In my defense, I made this quilt and took this picture in June 2004. This was long before I had a good quality digital camera and the skills to edit the photos.

Elliot’s Crown Royal Quilt
Awhile back, I shared the Crown Royal quilt I made for my husband (My Up-North Crown Royal Quilt #137), and when one of our cabin neighbor’s saw it they asked if I could make them a quilt using those same purple, flannel bags. As much as a pain in the butt as those bags are, to work with, I didn’t hesitate to say yes when Elliot asked because he is such a great kid! So began my 150th quilt project….
His and Hers I Love Grandma Baby Quilts
I figured now was the perfect time to post about the quilts I made for my 4 grandkids back in December of 2012 (2 boys — Mason and Easton and 2 girls — Blake and Tatum). Now is the perfect time to post because I just pulled these pictures out because I am going to be making a few more and I needed to refer to the picture for guidance!

How to Make T-Shirt Yarn
I love working on a variety of crafts and that includes crochet. Lately, I have been on a crochet kick, making scarves for all of the gals I know; but now that the weather is getting warmer, I wanted to think of something else to make. Personalized Grocery Bags for Play
During the last few months, my grandkids have been pretending to go ‘shopping’ when they are playing at my house. They will push the grocery cart to me and expect me to ring up all of the items and bag them up (I had a few small paper bags they would use)… That is what gave me the ideas of making these pint-sized grocery bags.

Blake’s Baby Quilt
Since we are on the topic of baby quilts, this is the quilt I made for my first grandchild, Blake Leigh Ann, who was born in May 2011. This was quilt #93, made in March of 2011. I finished it in time for Katie’s (and Blake’s) baby shower.

A Collection of Mini Quilts and My Etsy Store
First of all, I wanted to use this post to announce the re-opening of my Etsy store. It has been quite awhile since I have posted anything for sale but that is going to change! I had a lot of fun making these little gems and look forward to making many more.
I have a plastic bin in my craft cupboard that I use to collect extra quilt blocks. Usually, when I am designing my own quilt tops, I make way too make blocks plus some quilt patterns I use leave me with extras… I can’t bear to just toss these so I have been collecting them. Recently I decided to go through this bin and see what I could come up with.

Gone Country Quilt with Embroidered Quotes
Let me introduce you to my quilt number 19. This fabric was actually posted as a kit with another pattern. I bought it because I loved the fabric, but not necessarily the pattern so I was very happy when I found the Gone Country quilt pattern in an Issue of Quilting and Embroidery magazine.
