I took on this enormous project as my 14th quilt (in 2004), just a few couple of years after I made my very first one. When you look at this quilt, you might not think it looks like an enormous undertaking, but considering this was the first time I tackled a quilt without having a step-by-step pattern to follow.

Strolling Down the Block Calendar Quilt
This calendar quilt, named Strolling Down the Block, was the 18th quilt I started working on. I say started working on because I started it in January of 2003 but didn’t finish it until the middle of 2004 so I did finish some other quilts before this one was done.

Moonshine Quilt
This amazing wall hanging was the 79th quilt I made. While I love the look of it, it wasn’t the easiest quilt I have ever made as each one of the little squares are only 1-inch square (finished size).
Mikayla’s Dresser Runner
So, the 23rd quilt I made wasn’t one that was intended to be used on a bed — it was made to be used on a dresser! It was so colorful and fun, and, I think, the first one I was hired to make.

Heart Crazies Quilt
My 15th quilt was made from a pattern from The Buggy Barn named Heart Crazies (sorry, this quilt looks like it is no longer available). I made this in March of 2004 at the same quilt retreat that I made Katie’s Graduation Memory Quilt. Because Katie’s quilt was going to be a surprise, I chose to also make this quilt so I would have something to show off when I got home.

French Roses Quilt
This French Roses Quilt by Heather French was my 21st. I actually bought this quilt kit at Spring quilt retreat in 2004 but didn’t make it until the Fall 2004 retreat.
I had no purpose in mind when I bought this kit. I just fell in love with the fabric pack and the pattern design. I had yet to make a raw edge applique quilt so that enticed me too.
